During the early 90's it became evident that there was a real need for professional SCUBA repair & service. Others in the industry recognized the same need. Since then there have been a number of organizations and associations established for the purpose of training people to perform SCUBA repairs. To that end DTW,Inc. was created.
At DiveTechWest we believe in doing things right the first time. As divers ourselves, we strongly believe that you, our customers, need the security of knowing that your life support gear has been serviced, and tested, according to your manufacturers' specifications.
From a straight forward annual service to tracking down the cause of that annoying, intermittent problem in performance, your gear is handled by professional technicians trained and authorized by the specific manufacturer for the equipment they are handling. No backroom mechanics. No substituted or generic parts. At DiveTechWest, repair and servicing is ALL we do. You won't be getting a sales clerk with one hour of training from a trade show using whatever parts are available from the backroom working on your equipment.
Along with maintaining current training status from the manufacturers ( no longer than 2 yrs without full line refresher plus annual new products training ), we also meet our professional obligations as technicians on active status with DETA and IAST. Our training is ongoing throughout the year.
Equipment arriving is promptly serviced. As a general rule, your equipmentis on its way back to you within 5 working days of reception. If there is ANY delay, you are immediately notified by the technician working on your gear. This ensures that you, the customer, are kept clearly informed as to the status of your equipment.
